ILLINOIS DUO HONORED

Quality of Life Services Inc. recently honored two Southern Illinois medical professional with the Quality Service Award.

Dr. C. Norman Geyer of Carbondale and physical therapist Lisa Rountree of Eldorado, were honored at a dinner and silent auction.

The award is presented annually by QLS, a not-for-profit, CHAP accredited, home health care agency based in Carbondale.

Geyer and Rountree were honored for their outstanding commitment and dedication to improving health care in Southern Illinois.

Geyer served as Department Chair of Pediatrics and as Staff Pediatrician at the Carbondale Clinic for more than 32 years. He had also served on the Board of Directors at the Clinic, and as Chairman of the Board.

Rountree works for Wabash-Ohio Valley Special Education District.

She also coordinates physical therapy programs in schools throughout the nine county region.
