SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 57 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform repairs to the bridge over Lake Bayou. The bridge is between the Mississippi River bridge and County Road 202.
Weather permitting, the bridge deck will be washed Wednesday and repairs to the approach will be done Monday. The work will be done from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
