I-55 in Scott County reduced for pavement repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Northbound Interstate 55 between Route U and Route C in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews make pavement repairs.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday and will conclude by 3 p.m. Thursday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
