I-55 in Scott County reduced for bridge work

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane Wednesday as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine repairs to the bridge over Route U at Blodgett, Mo.

Weather permitting, the work will be done from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
