I-55 in Scott County reduced for bridge repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane Monday and Tuesday as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge repairs. The bridge is over Interstate 57 and between U.S. 62 and Route AA. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. Signs will mark the work zone, and motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
