SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction this week, as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
The first section of road is between mile marker 126 and mile marker 123.
The second section of road is between mile marker 118 and mile marker 115.
Weather permitting, work will begin today at 7 a.m. and will be finished by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
