Northbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews make pavement repairs. This section of the highway is at mile marker 96, underneath the Route K overpass. According to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the work will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily Oct. 17 through 19.
