The hunt has been an ongoing tradition for 10 to 15 years now and the number of children taking part grows each year.

This year's hunt saw the Jaycees boiling, dye and hide more than 1,400 Easter eggs.

In addition to brightly-colored eggs, a number of special prizes were awarded following the afternoon event.
