HUMANE SOCIETY SECOND DOG WASH ON TAP AUG. 15

The Humane Society of Southeast Missouri will hold its second Annual Dog Wash Aug. 15, from noon until 4 p.m.

"I was very pleased with last year's dog wash," said Nancy Richards, Humane Society administrator, "but I'm hoping for a lot more participation from the public. And I hope that we will see a lot more dogs brought out."

The dog wash will be held at the shelter which is located on Route W in Cape Girardeau. All dogs are welcome and must be on a leash. Door prizes will be awarded.
