Humane Society plans mobile adoption dates

In an effort to take the animals to the people, the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri has announced several mobile adoption dates and dates for fundraising events for the society.

The following mobile adoption dates were announced:

- Aug. 3, Mobile Adoption at Buchheit's, 1 to 4 p.m.

- Aug. 17, Mobile Adoption at Petco, 1 to 4 p.m.

- Sept. 7, Mobile Adoption at Buchheit's, 1 to 4 p.m.

- Oct. 5, Mobile Adoption at Buchheit's, 1 to 4 p.m.

- Oct. 19, Mobile Adoption at Petco, 1-4 p.m.

Other events announced included a fundraising Dessert Auction on Aug. 4; a car wash at Jackson Tire, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 24; an a "Bark in the Park" at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 21.
