OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- The Labor Day Festival, planned by the Horseshoe Lake Chamber of Commerce, has been canceled due to recent flooding.
The Horseshoe Lake Community Center is being used for flood relief activities, including distribution of food and cleaning supplies.
Doris Maze, president of the Horseshoe Lake Chamber of Commerce, said the organization is planning a Volunteer Day later to acknowledge their appreciation to all who helped.
