HOMECOMERS CONCLUDES SMOOTHLY

Stickers: Two young women had sticker mania during Homecomers week.

Orient: Homecomers visitors could feel as though they had stepped out of the Midwest, right into Asia.

Local contestant: Ashley Booker was the only Jackson High School student competing for 2000 Miss Homecomers honors. A strong field of seven candidates revived the queen pageant, which had to be dropped last year due to lack of interest.

Lonely moment: Homecomers queen candidate Kara Kyle of Oran anxiously awaited the beginning of the queen pageant Aug. 26, from the contestants' room in the Cape County Courthouse.
