HOME ECONOMICS WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR SEMO FAIR

Winners have been named in home economics contests at the SEMO District Fair.

Ribbon winners in the yeast products category are Sara Schulte, Mrs. Vaiden Weber, Sharon Sterrett, Dortha Strack, Opal Klaproth, Denise Aufdenberg, Deborah J. Bylest, Bonnie Stahlman, Betty Friedrich, Ann Ruch, Katie Kammler, Mrs. Albert Job and Mimi Higgins.

Winners have also been named in the Ball/Kerr contest. All winners used Kerr jars.

Fruit: First place, Jan Koenig of Burfordville; second place, Betty Weber of Altenberg.

Vegetable: First place, Vaiden Weber of Altenberg; second place, Marie James of Cape Girardeau.

Pickle: First place, Ernest Weiss of Perryville; second place, Sam Giambelluca of Poplar Bluff.

Soft spread: First place, Sara Schulte of Jackson; second place, Betty Friedrich of Whitewater.

Youth vegetable: First place, Curtis Sievers of Jackson.

Youth pickle: First place, Alex Buchheit of Perryville.

Youth soft spread: First place, Kelly Kuehn of Perryville.
