Southeast Missouri State University said it is canceling a Holocaust remembrance observance scheduled for Wednesday.
The university announced the cancellation Monday in a news release.
Rachel Miller, who survived the Holocaust, had been scheduled to speak at the event. The university's news bureau said Miller, who recently spoke before a presentation of the play "The Diary of Anne Frank" at Cape Girardeau Central High School, was ill and unable to travel.
