"The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: A Holiday Musical Showcase" will be held Friday night in Jackson.
The show, which benefits the Salvation Army, will be held at Cox Memorial Hall, formerly the Jackson city hall, at 225 S. High Street.
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for a dessert bar. The two-hour show by local singers Mike Dumey and Robyn Hosp is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
"It will be a musical variety show with a large emphasis on Christmas music," Dumey said. "It is going to be fun, just a lot of heartwarming holiday songs."
Dumey said he and Hosp have done private Christmas shows in past years for various groups.
"But this will be the first time we actually have done a Christmas concert for the general public," Dumey said.
"To me, this will be a great way to end the holiday shopping day," he said.
Cox Hall has seating for 175 people.
Cost is $10 for adults, and $6 for children.
Tickets can be purchased at Garber's, My Daddy's Cheesecake and Wallpaper for Less in Cape Girardeau and at Sweetheart Florist and the Style Stop in Jackson.
Tickets also will be sold at the door if available, Dumey said.
