CAIRO, Ill. -- Magnolia Manor will welcome guests to its 42nd annual Holiday House beginning Thanksgiving Day at 1 p.m.
Handmade decorations, baker goods and bazaar items will be for sale at the four-story manor, which will be decorated in the theme "A Christmas to Remember."
The Drawing Room will be filled with floating angels, the Library with whimsical Santas, and gingerbread houses and snowmen will be all about.
The Cairo Library and Customs House also will be open for Holiday House, except on Thanksgiving Day. All three buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Holiday House continues Nov. 25 through 27, and Dec. 3 and 4.
Hours all six days are 1 to 5 p.m.
Group tours can be arranged during the week by calling (618) 734-0201 for the Manor and (618) 734-1840 for the Library and Customs House.
