HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS EXPANDS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- `Holiday Happenings' has expanded its lines.

"We are now a full-service party store," said Mike Thies, one of the store's owners and operators. "We have added a full line of party decorations and supplies. We have everything from mylar balloons to wedding candles and tuxedos."

Thies added that the company offers free delivery for floral and balloon arrangements, custom-made ceramic lamps, and other in-home party decorating services.

"We can make stained glass windows, build or rebuild decks, and create custom wood working items," he added. "We also still have a good selection of out-of-the-ordinary gift items," said Thies. "We have a lot of Christmas items on, and the new Christmas lines will be arriving within a couple of months."

Holiday Happenings, located at 5 S. Henderson, is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 4:30 p.m.
