The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred at 9:14 p.m. Saturday, on Highway 412, five miles east of Kennett when an eastbound patrol vehicle driven by Craig A. Cook, 25, of Poplar Bluff struck bicyclist Tucker L. Risner, 16, of Kennett.

Risner was taken by helicopter to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn., for treatment.
