Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E recently announced it will conduct enforcement operations during August.
At some point this month, members of the highway patrol, along with local law enforcement agencies, will conduct a hazardous moving vehicle operation and a driving-while-intoxicated saturation operation, according to a Troop E news release.
Hazardous moving operations target vehicles being operated in an unsafe manner. In a DWI saturation, troopers target a specific area in an effort to arrest impaired drivers.
Troop E serves Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Scott, Stoddard, Butler, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Ripley and Wayne counties.
