Highway 53 bridge in Dunklin County closed

The Highway 53 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks in Campbell, Missouri, will be closed until further notice as a precautionary measure. A news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation said excess movement was noted in the bridge during a routine inspection.

Additional inspections will begin today.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
