Highway 51 in Perry County open to one lane

Highway 51 in Perry County is open to one-lane of traffic, after an accident earlier this morning shut down the road. Flaggers are on scene directing traffic, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.

The closure was near Route C, about two miles from the Chester Bridge.

Both lanes of Highway 51 are expected to be opened by 7:30 a.m. Motorists are urged to use caution while in the area.
