Highway 34 in Bollinger County reduced for shoulder repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 34 in Bollinger County, between Highway 72 and Highway 34, will be reduced to one lane with a nine-foot width restriction as contractor crews install shoulders along the roadway. 

Working daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., construction will begin Monday and should be completed by October 2013, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
