A section of Highway 177 in Cape Girardeau County will be closed for four hours Tuesday and carry reduced traffic the remainder of the week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace pipe under the road and perform drainage work. The section from Okemah Lane to County Road 602 will be closed, weather permitting, beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The pipe should be replaced by noon, when the road will be reopened to a single lane of traffic. The reduction will continue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily Wednesday through Friday.
