The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a contract for pavement resurfacing of Highway 177 in Cape Girardeau County.
The commission awarded $2.3 million to Pace Construction Co. for the resurfacing project on Highway 177 from Route J to the end of state maintenance in Cape Girardeau County, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The project also includes the addition of rumble strips from Ute Lane to Lexington Avenue in Cape Girardeau.
