SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 114 and U.S. 62 (Malone Avenue) in Sikeston will be reduced to one lane next week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews install wireless vehicle detection pucks on all approaches at the traffic signals. Intersections that will be affected are Malone and Selma Street, Malone and Ingram Road, Malone and Pine Street, Malone and Kingshighway, and Malone and New Madrid Street. Weather permitting, work will be done nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Oct. 1. The work zone will be marked with signs.
