HELP END MARIJUANA PROHIBITION HOSTS EVENT

The Help End Marijuana Prohibition organization will sponsor an all-day event, Marijuana Day, on May 7.

From 9-11 a.m., an informational table on hemp will be in the lobby of the Southeast Missouri State University Center. From 11-11:45, two videos on marijuana will be shown in the Indian Room of the University Center.

From noon-12:30 p.m., there will be a protest at Academic Hall. At 12:30-1:30 p.m., an overview of drug issues will be considered in the Indian Room of the University Center.

There will be fun and games in the lounge of the University Center for 2-4 p.m. A dance will be held in the Ballroom/Party Room of the University Center from 7:30-10 p.m. The dance will cost $1 for students, $2 for the public, and will feature both a sound system and live music by Mercy Beat.
