The KFVS12 Heartland Cares telethon held last week raised about $25,000 for the American Red Cross flood relief efforts.
The telethon was broadcast April 4. During the three-hour event, $20,000 was pledged or donated on-air. Additional money and supplies were collected at various places during the telethon, bringing the total to $25,000.
Money and supplies collected will be used to help recent flood victims and to help in other Red Cross efforts.
