The annual Jackson Heritage Association Banquet will be held Jan. 29 at Bent Creek Golf Club in Jackson.
A side presentation, depicting Jackson's history, will be presented, as well as musical entertainment by area vocalists. The Heritage Award and Unsung Hero Awards will also be presented.
The banquet till begin with a mixer at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Reservations must be sent to Treasurer Carlton Meyer, 820 W. Jackson Blvd., Jackson, MO 63755 by Jan. 24. The cost is $15 per person.
Membership in the Jackson Heritage Association is available at a variety of levels: $15 individual, $25 family, $50 bronze, $100 silver and $300 gold. Membership dues should also be paid to Meyer.
The Jackson Heritage Association was formed to preserve the historical past of the area and share it with future generations. The collection of artifacts and information as well as restoring area historic sites are a very important part of the Association.
