MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing from 4 to 7 p.m. March 1 to discuss improvements to Highway 34 in Bollinger County. The hearing will be held at the Woodland Elementary School gym in Marble Hill. The meeting will have an open-house format, so visitors can stop by to talk one-on-one with a member of the project team. No formal presentation will be given. The project will include resurfacing, adding shoulders and some curve corrections from 1.6 miles east of Route DD to 0.5 miles west of Route ZZ near Glenallen, Mo. Work is expected to begin in spring 2013, with completion that winter.
