HEALTH CENTER HOLDING FOOD HANDLER SCHOOLS THIS MONTH

The Cape Girardeau Public Health Center is holding annual food handler education programs this month.

Classes are being offered today and Thursday, Monday and Tuesday, April 20, 22, 25, and 26 at various times and at various places. Contact the department for details.

The schools feature specialized sessions for some different categories of food service employees. New techniques and materials illustrate safe food handling principles and enlist participants in a food service safety improvement effort.

There is no charge to attend. A certificate of attendance will be awarded, and attendance prizes will be awarded at each session.
