The SEMO Chapter of Harley Owners Group will hold its sixth annual Toy Run Dec. 5.
Riders will gather at the West Park Mall parking lot at 2 p.m., and the ride will begin at 3 p.m.
All bikes are welcome and admission is one toy and one canned good per rider.
A dance will follow the run from 6-10 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge. Admission is free to Toy Run participants, $3 for other individuals and $5 a couple. Proceeds from the dance will be donated to the organization's adopted Christmas family.
Every Christmas, with the help of the Division of Family Services, the Harley Owners Group adopts a family. Members donate new toys, clothes and Christmas dinner, which are delivered to the family by club members.
The group also takes part in a number of community causes. It has chosen the Muscular Dystrophy Association as its special cause, but members also participate in Friends of the Park Day, Adopt A Highway and in filling sandbags during flooding.
