The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 1992 world tour to Cape Girardeau Jan. 7 for a 7:30 p.m. performance at the Show Me Center.
For the past 66 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have been cheered by millions of fans in 110 countries. Headlining the 1992 tour is "Sweat Lou" Dunbar, the reigning "Clown Price of Basketball."
The new team also features Reginald Dixon, Sterling "Smooth" Forbes, Kelvin "Special K" Hildreth, Sandra "Sweetness" Hodge, Matthew Jackson, Curley "Boo" Johnson, longtime fan favorite Osborne "The Wizard" Lockhart, Robert Wallace and rookie forward Tim Price.
Opposing the Harlem Globetrotters are the Washington Generals.
Reserved seats go on sale Friday and are $13, $11, $10 and $9. They are available at the Show Me Center box office, Sears, Disc Jockey Records, Mercantile Banks, the University Center on campus, and by phone at 651-5000.
