Hardee's is searching for 25 unsung heroes in Paducah, Ky., Cape Girardeau and Carbondale, Ill.

The KGMO-FM/Hardee's Hometown Heroes awards ceremony recognizes local citizens for humanitarian achievement as well as outstanding volunteerism.

Nominations of 50 worlds are more will be accepted from area citizens and organizations. The nominations should describe exemplary dedication, service and achievement.

All nominations will be separated into the following categories: personal bravery, human rights, helping children, environmental awareness, senior citizen assistance, honesty, demonstrating patriotism, healthcare, community service, educational contributions, arts and humanities, animal welfare, handicapped support, agricultural achievement, employment assistance, substance abuse prevention and public safety.

Entry forms can be picked up at any local Hardee's restaurant, and mailed to: Hardee's Hometown Heroes, C/O KGMO-FM, 901 S. Kingshighway, Box 558, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63701.

The deadline for nominations is June 30.
