H & R BLOCK OFFERS OPEN HOUSE TODAY

H & R Block, the country's largest income tax preparation firm, will hold an open house today.
H & R Block tax preparers will be available to answer questions about income taxes and return preparation. Tax manuals and classroom study materials will be on display.

The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1471 N. Kingshighway. The actual income tax course will begin Sept. 12.
The school's curriculum of more that 40 tax topics includes filing requirements, itemized deductions, dividends and interest, retirement plans, rental property and many others. Graduates receive certificates and 6.6 continuing education units.
Anyone interested in attending the open house or enrolling in Income Tax School can call the H & R Block office at 334-6215.
