The battalion is en route from Iowa to Mississippi to train at Camp Shelby before deploying for a yearlong tour of duty in Afghanistan. Including Monday's group of 311 soldiers, Port Cape has provided meals to about 1,700 National Guardsmen on their way to Mississippi in the last week. "This is one of the proudest moments of my career," owner Doc Cain said.
