The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) for university seniors and juniors planning graduate studies will be offered Dec. 12 on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
GRE scores are required by many institutions, including Southeast, for admission to graduate studies.
Registration deadline for the exam is Nov. 6. The regular fee is $45 for the general exam and $45 for each subject exam. Students may register for the test on a standby status on the day of the test, however an additional $35 fee will be charged.
The GRE will be offered again on Feb. 6.
Students considering law school after their undergraduate work should take the Law School Admission Test, also offered in December and February. Regular registration for the Dec. 5 law school test ends on Nov. 3 and requires a $71 fee. Late registration runs from Nov. 3-11 and carries an additional $40 charge. Fees may be paid by check, Master Card or VISA. Candidates also may register the day of the exam on a standby status, also requiring a $40 late fee.
Registration materials for both exams are available at Southeast's testing services, 713 N. Henderson. For more information about these and other testing programs, contact Jewel Eggley, testing supervisor, at (314) 651-2836.
