The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) office must receive completed registration forms and fees on or before Friday from those planning to take the exam April 17 at Southeast Missouri State University.
The new deadline procedure, announced by Jewel Eggley, testing supervisor, replaces previous guidelines that required completed registration forms and fees to be postmarked by the deadline date.
The GRE is for university seniors and juniors planning graduate studies. The examination is required by many institutions, including Southeast, for admission to graduate studies.
The regular registration fee is $45 for the general exam and $45 for each subject exam. Students also may register on a standby basis the day the exam is administered. An additional fee of $35 is charged for standby registration.
For more information or for registration materials, contact Testing Services, 713 N. Henderson, or call (314) 651-2836.
