Gov. Mel Carnahan will be in Southeast Missouri today for events in Sikeston and New Madrid.
At noon, Carnahan will attend the dedication of the 200,000-square-foot, $35 million expansion of the Good Humor-Breyer's plant in the Sikeston Business and Technology Park.
The governor will then speak at an open house at the Sikeston HOPE Center at 2:20.
At 3:30, Carnahan will speak at the ground breaking for the Missouri Division of Youth Service's $1.1 million, two-unit, 20-bed residential youth facility in New Madrid.
