GOSPEL CONCERT TONIGHT

SIKESTON -- More than 20 musicians from Sikeston, Cape Girardeau, St. Louis and elsewhere will gather at 7 p.m. today for the Third Annual Bootheel Gospel Music Conference.

The performance will be at the S.T.A.I.R.S. Auditorium in Sikeston, 201 S. Kingshighway. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Acts will include soloists Calvin Bird and Lisa Lane, both of Cape Girardeau, the Acappella Choir of Pinhook, and The Anointed Voices of Faith Mass Choir of Memphis, Tenn.

Tickets are available for $8 in advance at both Piggly Wiggly locations and Stan's Food Mart in Sikeston and at Food Giant in Cape Girardeau.
