Chairman Brad Burgess called the regular monthly meeting to order at 8 p.m.
Members present were Burgess, Randy Eggiman, Tim Goodman, Sheila Gross, & Kathy Maynard. Guest's present were Steve Southard and Bill Dalton.
Minutes of the March meeting were reviewed and corrections were made. Motion was to accept the minutes. Motion was approved.
The treasurer's report was submitted by Tim Goodman. Motion was made to accept the treasurer's report. Motion was approved.
Motion was made to approve the yearly honorarium for board members. Motion was approved.
Paperwork for sewers was discussed by the board. The board reviewed the dates that necessary paperwork for the sewer grants had to be filed.
The board received a letter from County Clerk Rodney Miller confirming the 65-55 vote in favor of bond Issue. Motion was made to accept the election results. Motion was approved.
County Auditor Weldon Macke has graciously offered to help speed up the bond process.
The board rejected both bids received for lawn care and will contact the person who did it last year.
The city board reviewed several street projects. Gross will pick up the recent survey down by Dowdy for work on North Bohnsack. that work will start in late May. Work also will start in late May for the South Bohnsack project.
The board has agreed to donate $200,000 to the crime lab for processing of crime materials.
The Board heard a suggestion from Bobby Wallace for public meetings informing citizens of regulations and laws concerning motorcycles. The board felt the interest would not be there.
Cross will get information to Steve Southard about an ordinance about renumbering that will be reviewed next month.
The next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. April 30.
