Republican governors will stop in Kansas City and Cape Girardeau Monday to stump for the Bush-Cheney ticket.

Govs. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas, Bob Taft of Ohio and Kenny Guinn of Nevada will be in Cape Girardeau Monday for a campaign stop. The event is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Horizon Screen Printing, 430 Broadway.

Earlier in the day, the three governors along with Gov. Bill Graves of Kansas are scheduled for an airport rally in Kansas City.

Twenty-nine Republican governors are scheduled to meet with Gov. George W. Bush at the Governor's Mansion in Austin, Texas, to kick off the "Barnstorm for Reform" campaign. Over the following three days, they will travel in seven teams to 48 cities in 25 states.

A Texas Democrat will travel with each group in an attempt to show Bush's bipartisan support. The Democrat traveling to Missouri will be retired Judge John Hill.
