SIKESTON, Mo. -- Tryouts for the musical "Godspell," the Sikeston Little Theatre's first show in the Imogene Ruth Albritton Mayer Center for the Arts, will begin next week.
Tryouts will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 28, 4 p.m. on Dec. 29, and 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the new theater at 506 S. Kingshighway.
The Sikeston Little Theatre production of "Godspell" is slated to be presented Feb. 21-24 and March 1-3.
The cast includes 12 to 14 roles evenly divided between male and female parts, said the musical's director, Steve Beydler.
Those not wanting an acting role but who would like to assist with the production should attend one of the tryout sessions.
Musicians, backstage workers, construction personnel, painters, prop people and costumers are needed.
