Girl Scouts take part in Christmas project

Junior Girl Scout Troop 27 of Jackson, partnering with an organization called "Soldiers' Angels," is undertaking a Christmas project for soldiers fighting in the war.

They have signed more than 400 Christmas cards and included words of encouragement that are part of an effort called "Holidays for Heroes."

Troop 27's Christmas cards will be included in holiday bags sent by the organization which aims to get 40,000 gifts bags with cards out to U.S. soldiers.
