Two members of the Otahki Girl Scout Council recently participated in the Girl Scout Wider Opportunity, during which they participated in a program with other Girl Scout troops.
Sara Emerson of Scott City attended a Wider Opportunity in Muskegon, Mich. She monitored, analyzed and recorded data evaluating waters. She is the daughter of David and Margo Emerson and has been involved in Girl Scouts for 10 years.
Christy Wright of Benton spent 11 days in New Jersey. She visited the World Trade Center, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
