Janet Sue Mason, 48, was northbound on Route 3, about 2.5 miles south of Ware, when the accident occurred at 3:20 p.m., according to Illinois State Police.

Her vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, skidded out of control and crossed to the left side of the roadway, ran down and embankment and overturned.
Mason was alone in the vehicle.
