The Cape Girardeau County Genealogical Society will have James E. McGhee, a noted Civil War historian and author who specializes in Missouri Confederate history, speak at 7:30 p.m. today at Riverside Regional Library in Jackson. His program, "Missourians in Gray," will emphasize Southeast Missouri confederates. McGhee has written several books on the Civil War in Missouri and his books will be available for purchase at the meeting. The society meets bimonthly on the fourth Tuesday.
