No damage reports were received.

Much of the southern portion of the state was under a flash flood watch Monday.

Severe storms dumped an inch of rain in St. Louis late Sunday and almost 1 1/2 inches of rain at Kirksville. Downed trees and power outages also were reported in other portions of the state.

No rain was in the forecast today or Friday, the weather service said, but more rain is likely Wednesday and Thursday.
