Sigma Nu fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University will raise money Thursday to help victims of the Columbine High School shooting. Fraternity members will raise money for the Mile High United Way Community Healing Fund.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., members will lounge in the new water fountain at Kent Library.

Paul Dobbins, public relations chairman for the fraternity's Southeast chapter, said they hope to get students to toss coins or make contributions.

"A lot of students and faculty have been affected by this tragedy in some way," said Dobbins. "This is a very easy way to help with the healing process. All we are asking them to do is throw in their spare change."
