Southeast Missouri State University music instructor Marc Fulgham will appear as featured soloist with the Paducah, Ky., Symphony Orchestra Oct. 1 at Paducah Symphony Hall.
The concert will begin at 8:15 p.m.
Fulgham, who plays trumpet, appeared with the Paducah Symphony at the Show Me Center in March during the Moody Blues concert.
He will perform Alexander Arutunian's "Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra" as part of the first subscription concert of the 1994-95 season.
Fulgham is in his fifth year at Southeast, a member of the Southeast Brass Quintet and is beginning his third year as the principal trumpet player for the Paducah Symphony.
He moved to Southeast Missouri from Boulder, Colo., where he is a doctoral candidate in music performance at the University of Colorado. While in the Rocky Mountain region, Fulgham performed with several organizations, including the Denver Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Denver Brass and Colorado Brass Quintet.
