Fruitland rest area closed for repairs

The Fruitland rest area on Interstate 55 south in Cape Girardeau County will be closed from 3 p.m. Tuesday until 3 p.m. Thursday, as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform repairs, according to a MoDOT news release.
